1^st INTERNATIONAL COAL CONFERENCE, JAMSHORO, PAKISTAN

A three-day mega event, during which about 60 papers were presented by international and domestic experts, was organised by Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Jamshoro on 7th - 9th November 2013.

 

Titled “1st International Coal Conference”, the event started on Thursday, 7th November 2013 at the university’s main campus in Jamshoro, Sindh, Pakistan. The experts discussed a host of issues like coal mining, coal geology, characterisation and upgrading, emission and control, coal utilisation and clean technology.

 

Participations received from all over the world including USA, UK, Turkey, China, Japan, and Bangladesh.
